Thank you for considering HOJA’s School Presentation!
Over the past ten years we have impacted 750,000 students with over 2,500 presentations nation-wide. We look forward to continuing our mission of entertaining and inspiring Canadian youth in the 11/12 school year.

NEW FOR 2011–2012 — HOJA’s No Bullying Presentation!
We’ve developed this presentation based on extensive research from several leaders in the field on how to create a school environment where bullying is simply not accepted or reinforced, and therefore is reduced. We use our unique ability to captivate and relate to your students with our performance to pass on a strong message emphasizing that what bystanders do has a huge impact on bullying at your school.

Our presentation will have a lasting impact on your students with momentum carrying through the entire year by including:

Presentation — in addition to entertaining students with our songs, we spend half the time sharing our experiences with bullying while growing up and offering support and suggestions to your students.

No Bullying Web Page — students are encouraged to visit this site to download two free songs and view more detailed information and suggestions beyond what is covered in our presentation.

Parent Involvement — schools are encouraged to send a note home to parents suggesting they visit the site with their children and also view the Parents Page specifically for them.

Follow Up — A variety of posters are left with the school highlighting different points made in our presentation, and a monthly personal message from us can be read over the intercom.

The web pages are in development, but you can view two of them to get an idea of the information and support materials we are offering:

For those of you who have hosted a HOJA presentation already — we do have three different school presentations, so please be assured that your students will see a different show if you bring us back!

Educators often tell us that there are two important criteria when bringing in a presentation:

  • The assembly must be educational and impact the students in a positive way

  • The assembly must captivate the students’ attention and be enjoyable for them

It can be difficult to find a presentation that truly fulfills both of these criteria, and presenters can find themselves compromising on one element to achieve the other. We are committed to providing you the best of both worlds and we stand behind our presentations with this guarantee:

If you do not agree that our presentation was enjoyable and beneficial for your students then... YOU PAY NOTHING!

This may seem like an outrageous claim, but we make it for two reasons:
  1. All performers should make this claim. If we do not provide a worthwhile presentation for your students, then not only should you keep your money, but we should sincerely apologize for wasting valuable class time.

  2. We have been told time and again that our presentation has been the highlight of the school year. We are confident that we will do the same for your school. We are very proud of the fact that educators such as yourself offer us their sincere thanks for what we have done for their students.

You should find everything you need here to learn about how we can impact your students. Please contact us if you have any questions or if you have decided that you would like to be included in our upcoming tour.

Many schools who have had us in the past have brought us back to perform an evening concert as a community builder to connect with parents and families. This can be in the form of a parent/family night or as a public community show at no cost to you and which can be a great fundraiser for your school. Click here for details:
